A Catholic Board of Education is a body whose members participate in decision making in designated local, regional, or diocesan level. This body is configured to reflect the Catholic Churches commitment to collegiality and subsidiarity in accordance with the directions of the Second Vatican Council*
The Saint Joan of Arc School Board is an advisory board that collaborates with the Pastor and Principal of the Parish school. The committee represents the student body of St. Joan of Arc and helps to identify, relate, and assist in planning matters of policy that will meet the educational needs of our students and youth organizations.
St. Joan of Arc School Board Organization
The St. Joan of Arc School Board, the Pastor, and Principal will be responsible for the policies set forth under the guidelines set forth by the Archdioceses for the students at St. Joan of Arc.
Membership of the School Board Committee includes parent(s) and guardians(s) of children enrolled in the school. Parishioners with an interest in the school may also participate as members. All matters of policy will be referred to the School Board.
All parent(s) and guardians(s) of children enrolled in the school are encouraged to participate at the School Board monthly meetings.
