1st Reconciliation-The Forgiving Father
Saint Joan of Arc 2nd graders celebrated the sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time on November 12. They studied the Gospel story about the Forgiving Father (aka the Prodigal Son).
After the students made their confession, they were received by their parents who placed a ring on their finger and a cloak on their shoulders. The cloaks were decorated as a family project. The next day, students paraded around school for all to see their beautiful cloaks.
